whereas in the US, if you are a US citizen that barrier is not there (so much). they have a occasional crazy cross-state idiosyncrasies (eg the 'flamin' jeebus' states where you can drive at 6, marry your mother at 13, but not drink a beer until you are 90). but generally speaking north america is a homogenous terratorial lump.

so i think you need to be mindful of that before you say it's all about the girl (as in 'it's only about the girl').
