Gents, they are not in Colombia. Work-vacation got cancelled it seems. No loss IMHO as I think the casted Colombian girls so far are not particularly mind-blowing in terms of looks (e.g. too much tattoos)/sex-appeal/sexual appetite. I also find it strange that they have been shooting in Medellin, the city known for their white-skinned/blonde Colombians who look more European than Latina, but haven't been able to cast such girls. Anyway, I think they could better do a collaboration with Brazilians: Vinny Burgos/Ed Junior, Fabio/Hard Brazil, Marcello Cavalcantti, Stanlay Miranda, Jazz Duro (who's still Brazil based), Helaine Muzy/Brad Montana etc. Maybe have a look on the local escort sites to find noobies who haven't shot before. Seems to work for Spanish guy like Antonio Mallorca to cast like that through escort sites and Instagram. This said looking at it again: There seems to be a correlation between IV studio switching to daily releases and gonzo studio not releasing daily anymore.
Somebody else noticed this?

^No, Gonzo stopping its daily releases has nothing to do with IV. I've pointed this out several times before but the change happened when Giorgio started his daily releases in 2018. Plus XXX stated something like LP releasing more scenes doesn't correlate with LP selling more scenes so there was no reason to increase scenes being released daily.

In the end its all a question of investment vs profit.
Gonzo might actually be more profitable cutting down production to half a year of shooting only.
On the other hand IV must still be profitable somehow otherwise they wouldn't have upped scenes released to a daily routine from 3 days per week.
Most consistant biz model seems to be a GIO with GLab Prague and GLab Piter supporting GIO Prague. Giorgio Grandi is thus actually releasing more than 1 scene per day and seems to sell them really fine usually. xxx comment about producing less might thus be profit oriented - for instance if Luis was working on a high monthly fee rather than per scene.

My guess is that, when XXX compares how much money he makes by running Gonzo,
he is probably making, significantly more money, by taxing the other studios' sales instead.

Combined with the fact that Porn production is a bit of a gamble,
meaning, they don't really know if the next movie will be in the black,
(we all remember that time when XXX said he lost money in seemingly 20 movies straight, right?)
He is probably thinking "running my own porn studio is too much hassle".

Seeing like that, Luis has to compete with the sales of not just IV and Giorgio,
but also, DDF, Bangbros, American Anal, etc, etc, to impress his boss.
