Rating system on scenes?

Hey there, I want to throw this idea here to see what you guys think about it. It would improve LP a lot in my opinion.

How about we would be able to vote in each scene with some kind of feedback system. Where we would be able to rate the scene with stars ( lets say 0 to 10 stars). And then be able to write what we enjoyed about the scene and what we didnt. Maybe highlight our favourite tags, actors, actresses.

I think we should be able to vote on every scene, but being able to vote only on the scenes we bought makes sense too. But lets be honest, the LP scenes are so popular that they are all over the internet and you dont have to buy every scene, only if you really like it. People would be able to search for the scenes they might have missed with great ratings and their favourite tags/models.

There could be some kind list showing the best rated scene of this month, this year, this studio, or of specific model/tags. I think we would be able to give good, accurate feedback to people who work in LP. And only improvement could be done from it.

The current system which shows just what sells and what doesnt isnt accurate imo and doesnt tell much. Same goes for zhe Suggest page, where you can't see even how many votes some suggestion got.

In my opinion, being able to vote only on scenes you bought, doesn´t make sense. When you buy a scene, you like it - so you only get high ratings, what is not representative.

Much more reasonable: Only registered members, who really buy scenes, should be able to vote on ALL scenes. Thus you avoid, that some trolls who never bought a single scene, vote scenes down.

Would be cool to see an overall rating for every scene (e.g. 8.4 on a scale from 1 to 10) and then some reviews in the style of amazon.

Please make it happen, LP!

On a second thought, you are completely right. The rating system should be locked behind LP membership. The same way as Gallery is locked for example.

I think it would really improve this site, you could browse the top rated scenes for each tag, when you view profile of your favorite pornstar you could sort her scenes by ratings and see which are best. I really hope this will happen, although they would have to hire some profi IT guy to make it for them.

I second the idea of being able to vote for the scenes.

But I think it would be better, to only vote scenes, one has bought.
If you can vote a scene, you didn't buy, you have to judge just from the trailer, which is only a very small part of the scene.

Hmmm, thanks for sharign that I didnt know this thread existed. Not very happy about the decision to be able to vote only on the bought scenes. As I said, you can view the scene so easily without purchasing it and there would be much more votes and ratings if they allowed all members to vote on every scene. Maybe they could do some daily limit so there arent some trolls who just ruin the voting system somehow. Maybe like 5 chances to vote per day or something like that

I don't know, how to watch whole scenes without purchasing them. And I don't want to know, how to.
But when everyone can vote on scenes without purchasing them, I see the risk, that many people think "Oh, I don't like pissing/girls with bush/slapping/rough sex..., so I will vote every scene down, which isn't my fetish!"
So I think, it would be better, that only purchased scenes can be voted.

Unfortunately I did not give support to this thread when it was new .
When the rating system existed many years ago , I liked it very much ; a pity it has been discontinued .
I also like the pointage from 0 to 10 .

There is also a practical application :
When there is a certain kind of scene ( let´s say a barefoot gangbang ) the rating of a particular scene might indicate how users react to this theme .
Ok , not entirely since it also depends on the actress , her skills , her outfit , the males , acts performed etc ....
But it could be a kind of barometer .

So if I want to promote barefoot gangbangs I just would have to go to the different examples already being filmed and look at their ratings . ( Polly Pons , Sandra Soul , Jessy Jey ...)
The other possibility is to go to the monthly or yearly bestseller list and lose time by searching and evaluating its position ...

Different people can have different opinions, of course.

Personally I wouldn't gain any value or understanding from seeing other people's ratings for scenes, regardless of whether they bought them or not. But that's just me. I'll simply buy what I like.

I'll hope enough other people like the same scenes so they sell well and the models get repeat bookings and the studios make simlar scenes. But I think studios will monitor sales figures not fan ratings.

maybe we can rate fot example the amount of view on soles lile a five stars means all along the scene and 6 means ebds up with cumshot on soles or
visibkes soles durong the cumshot , it could help somes like me to buy scene and not being disapointed
