As usual, we are wading through all the “fun” behind-the-scenes planning stuff right now. One step forward, three steps backward. I guess that’s what I get for getting excited and breaking radio silence.

I feel like there is a big void in the US porn industry right now with a severe lack of quality anal porn productions. Especially since Mike Adriano more or less stopped working almost one year ago.
Someone needs to step up and fill that void.

Small (and sadly disappointing) update: We’re not shooting. It’s been one step forward, three steps back for months now. Every time I have a minor win of any kind, I get bad news right after it. What I’m trying to set up this time around is a bit difficult to get rolling, which I knew ahead of time, but I never anticipated it would be this difficult. Conditions in the industry have become complete dogshit ever since COVID & Ukraine happened. It’s totally disrupted the pipeline that used to exist for bookings.

More bad news. A model who was a priority for this round of scenes kept going back-and-forth with me for over half a year, but never committed to shooting. I’m going to be unavailable to shoot in the next couple of months - so guess who’s suddenly ready to shoot now?

It’s like I’m hacking away at a tree stump with an old axe that doesn’t work very well. The rusted blade is getting duller with each swing and the splintered handle is tearing up the palms of my hands as I use it, but I have no choice but to continue chopping away… slowly but surely…

I’ll keep working at it, though. For all of my cosmic bad luck and naïveté as a producer, God did bless me with persistence.

You guys have no idea how difficult it is in the post-COVID world to make any sort of pick-and-choose bookings. Even with big-dollar offers. The political reality of the times and the changes that have impacted the industry in particular are just insane.

A lot of the models I would consider “the good ones” are unavailable for general bookings for one reason or another. This makes production immensely challenging. It is not the way I was expecting it would be at all.

Things are different.

Releasing my first scene in a long time tonight. I will be honest: I’m a little nervous about platform bugs causing the scene to be unavailable for purchase. Some of the stuff Oscar Batty has been saying in the support forum are really worrying, and I’ve had some of my own scenes disappear from the studio page in recent months on-and-off.

This post serves as a public record that I am releasing the scene tonight. Note the time and date.

I want to produce another block of scenes soon after this one, but I will be watching the sales numbers on this block very closely before I make any decisions. Stay tuned for more new scenes.
