Suggestions for the forum.

Postby magizi877 » Mon Aug 21, 2017 12:58 am

These suggestions are aimed at making easier to do read.

Numero uno.

As it is, the text adjusts to the width of the screen you are using.
This works great on a phone, but on a wide screen monitor, it makes the reading too difficult.

On a wide screen monitor you need to turn your head from left to right, to be able to read what is being said.
Because the lines of text are huge. This is not optimal, you should at most just need to move your eyes slightly.

Solution: Force the text into a box that is always the same aspect ratio of 9:16 or similar.
On a wide screen this would leave blank spaces to the side, but it would make the reading so much easier.

Example: (pulled straight from a video game forum)

As opposed to what we have lived with for YEARS!

Number two.

In the User Control Panel / Board Preferences
Give us a dark theme.

A dark color background puts less strain on our eyes.

And finally, numero tres.

Some users post images that are too large in resolution and the problem is
that what we see is a cropped image. Would be cool, if you add some sort of resizing technology
so the image uses all the space available in the window, but gets downscaled when it's too big.
