I recall when joining LP stating something along the lines "Stream you videos from Pornbox, but we're not a streaming service so don't complain when it goes wrong."
With that in mind I would say no. Then again I am not an LP representative.

This is an old thread but I'm bumping as i think LegalPorno really should give this some thought.

I own 5 Roku's, one for every TV in my house (home theater, living room, bedroom, etc...). Sure, I can download then stream over my home network, but if I could just stream directly from my PornBox, it would be so much easier and save having to have local copy downloaded before being able to view.

The browser on consoles works for streaming LP, you just can't pause it, or rewind, but that's alright. However it would be nice to have the Roku version.

Roku has apps for very small business, like 5% of what LP is, so it probably should be easy for LP to get on there. There are already many Private Roku channels like R18 that are very convenient to use.

This is easy to watch LP on firestick

Just go to their browser (called internet or amazon silk), and go to your pornobox and play and set it for full screen. YOu can use your remote to pause and so forth.

The way I do it, which is much easier, is I do LP on my ipad and just cast it to my amazon firestick and I can operate the controls on my pad and just enjoy.

They could never make their own app as amazon, etc would never accept them.

Roku would, they ha e a bunch of channels like LP already including JAV stuff.

Actually it would be nice if LP can take a look at the R18 app because that app is pretty much perfection.

It only has 3 options:

1. Your library (where you can watch all your videos purchased)

2. Your channels (where you can watch all your subscriptions, which on LP would be the equivalent to PornWorld or Private for example)

3. Settings (which is only to unlink or link your account)

That's it, it's very simple and to the point, and you can navigate your library with ease.

Roku has added an Evil Angel channel. I agree scrolling through your Pornbox with your TV remote would be ideal.

I enjoy using my Plex server. It does take a little setup. I download files and have them included on my server which is run on my PC. I can flip through my catalog and choose whatever I want. I've got about 30 videos on there right now. Only limit is the hard drive space, PC RAM, and modem speed. Plex is free if your device and server on your same network (home wifi or ethernet connection on the same modem) I'm not sure about the quality is like for Roku EvilAngel but my Plex videos are mainly in 4k and there's no degradation or compression of the quality, no buffering. Looks amazing on my LG OLED.

Was curious to hear what others use, anything simliar or sticking with tablets, phone, PC displays? I'm spoiled by viewing on my 65 inch that I only use my computer for watching trailers, porusing the forum etc.

I haven't tried Plex, I heard you can save your videos there, but I don't know how it actually works, something about putting your hard drive in and playing the videos like a media server, but somehow Plex can record them like a DVR, I'm really not sure, I don't know if it's worth it or not. Plus uploading all the videos there will probably take forever. I feel a Pornbox app would be a better thing to have to stream on Roku devices.

You just choose which folders on your hard drive to load up to the server and then you can choose whatever you want watch with your remote on your TV or whatever device you are streaming on. Recalls where you left off, thumbnails for previewing as you go. I have never used DVR function, I do have the Plex Pass lifetime which means you can stream outside of your home. Anyway, that's what I use and love it.

Wonder what the streaming quality is too, download a 4k file and playing on a 4k TV for example is just stunningly clear and vivid so I'll stick with what I'm doing.

Evil on Roku was pretty good and so was the quality and control. But I don't thing Roku allows adult apps and content on their platform anymore which really really sucks
