Not sure if I agree with your concern 100% in terms of LP, but the idea of a "Golden Era" passing with the disappearance of certain stars is legit in general.

I can draw a parallel to Japanese Adult Video (JAV). For example, with the DMM studio IDEAPOCKET. I think that studio's so-called Golden Era is past, well just about passed. For the reasons you stated; the disappearance of its top, signature pornstars.

The Golden Era of IDEAPOCKET included a stable of Kaho Kasumi, Minori Hatsune, Jessica Kizaki, Aino Kishi, Tsubasa Amami and a few others. Sadly, once Kaho, Minori, Aino and others retired, the label has never been the same. Jessica Kizaki now shoots mostly for other DMM studios, leaving Tsubasa Amami as the lone survivor of IDEAPOCKET's best days. New stars have come into the brand, but it's been tough for them to meet the high standards of their predecessors. Part of the blame goes to JAV in general, which (likely due to right wing-leaning national politics) has toned down its content big time. Not nearly as hardcore as it used to be. Most of its best series no longer exist.

The difference with LP is that I think there are continually hot and great female performers coming into the brand. Not only from Europe but also certain ones from the U.S. The hotness is there and the performance is too (it's basically a prerequisite for working at LP).

I talk about a lot of previous times I started watching content put out here for a long time since Sineplex.

I think things change like with anything and yes some models will leave some will come in its always the way. Theres a ton of awesome performers out there I mean seriously you can go back through the archives and find an absolute ton of models here at LP who have come and gone but were awesome at the time. I dont think we can just say an Era has ended, I think the directors at LP do a good job as it goes of interacting and theyve turned out some scenes lately I was really impressed with.

Also there are not many other studios that are setup producing the rate or quality of content that LP is.

At the end of the day i've said this often despite my personal preferences LP is by far the best producer of porn in 2018 I think by a good margin.
Its why I am still here after a long time, things might not be where you personally want them at right now, but who knows things can change up they always do. Its the same for me, currently many scenes are not quite what I personally prefer, but also there are scenes I really am into so maybe we see a bit of a drift back that way, and maybe we will have a whole new wave of models in 2018.

For me it's hard to say.

As far a Gonzo is concerned I definitely miss the time when Blanche Bradbury, Nikita Bellucci, Timea Bella, Susan Ayn and Linda Sweet were a regular thing to get updates here at LP.

But I prefer how movies are produced today. Especially the camera work is a lot better. And IMO the male talent is a lot more consistent in the balls deep action department.

But I think Gonzo is expecting newbies to match the sales of the performers who have a massive score of followers and seems less keen on growing their fan base from the bottom and that's why there is a bunch of models with just 2 to 5 scenes? they seem to be looking for someone new to also explode in sales?

I mean if you look at the new filter, best sellers by year, 2018, it seems like most best sellers are scenes with models who already have fans and very few newbies make it to that list.

I lost interest in the model sub forum because I just can't keep track of all the different models we have seen our that some people hope to see.
